Massive scale model carnival by John Sapita, re-creating the James Strates show, comprising: five inter-connecting wooden panels (size of each approx. 35 x 32?) with two canvas tents, a network of tracks, and assorted figures attached; eight painted and stenciled wooden crates filled with hand-painted O scale model train cars and props, including Pullman cars, vehicles, wagons, and other assorted pieces. Crates neatly packed with wooden dividers between cars, which are wrapped in towels, and accompanied by handwritten sheets labeling the pieces within each crate. Many pieces signed ?J. Sapita.? An astonishing model representing countless hours of skillful labor. Overall very good condition.
