Two images of the ?cowboy magician? at the conclusion of his most famous feat, that of vanishing a bird cage from between his bare hands. The full-length portraits show Adelphia with his arms outstretched after the vanish, and with two men searching for the cage in his clothing after his coat has been removed. 8 ? x 6? embossed studio mounts. Rare.Many believe that Del Adelphia was the performer who taught Harry Blackstone Sr. the Vanishing Bird Cage. These images are two of six used on the only known Del Adelphia poster.
