Barr/Slusher was a prostitute, exotic dancer, one of the earliest porn stars (she had done a famous short film, "Smart Alec"), had relationships with mobsters Mickey Cohen and Jack Ruby, had been in jail for drug possession and shooting her second husband, and was a film choreographer. In the early 1980s, Texas Monthly magazine proclaimed her (and other important Texans) as one of "history's perfect Texans."
Condition
Light rubbing to binding, jacket rubbed, toned, lightly soiled, rear jacket panel dampstained and wrinkled. Very good.
