Illustrated with ?upwards of One Hundred Engravings on Steel.? [xxii], [1]-263, [1, blank]; [iii]-[viii], [1]-310 pp. Apparently bound without title-page of volume II. Approximately 5 ? x 4?. Bound to style in modern quarter red morocco over marbled boards, spine ruled and lettered in gilt, bound with engraved front wrapper at front (front wrapper laid onto a mount and chipped, some general toning, occasional thumbsoiling in text). Very good. A PROFUSELY ILLUSTRATED VERSION OF AESOP.
