FIRST EDITION, PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR ON THE HALF-TITLE: "To: General Johnson Hagood- with the compliments of the author- Arthur Little December 26th 1939". 

Condition

Cloth spine and board edges a bit sunned and rubbed, text a bit toned with occasional foxing; one tape repair to jacket verso, jacket toned and edgeworn with numerous small chips and tears. Very good. Rare in jacket.
