Air France / Concorde. 1989. France: SERAG. An artist drawn impression of an Air France Concorde F-BVFA plane. The Concorde was manufactured in 1975 and decommissioned in 2003. It was the first supersonic airliner capable of shuttling passengers across the Atlantic in under four hours and at twice the speed of sound. Nicknamed "Fox Alpha," this specific aircraft was the first Air France Concorde to open service to Rio de Janeiro, Washington, D.C., and New York and had flown 17,824 hours before retiring to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. Linen backed. 24 x 39".
