An 1876?1877 prison work ledger. Folio. 800 full pages of manuscript records for the tailoring department of inmates. This prison was one of the first prisons to use the Auburn System in which the inmates were forced to work. Rebound in half antique calf, spine gilt and reproduced from the original titling (original binding included). A RARE EXAMPLE FROM THIS PRISON.
