Animated 5 Cent Fortune Teller. New York: Roovers (?), ca. 1910. Animated grandma-type figure in wooden cabinet with attractive cast marquee and crystal ball on table. Cast iron base. Keys. Front door replaced, stand repainted. The only example of a fortune teller in this form known. Possibly manufactured by Rosenfield, though the origins of the machine are unknown. 73 1/2" high (inclusive of stand).
