[ANIMATION ART]. [WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS]. Original Production Cel from ?The Little Mermaid"; the ?Under the Sea" Music Sequence. [Walt Disney Productions, ca. 1988-89]. Setup with nearly 35 aquatic characters, featuring a sea turtle dancing on an octopus' head surrounded by happy fish, snails, lobsters, etc. Background is a later print, utilized for display purposes. Sight 9 ? x 15". Matted and framed under glass. Frame size 16 x 21". With stamp of The Walt Disney Company on covering acetate, and with Disney's printed COA affixed to verso. Light soiling to frame, else fine. This song won the Academy Award for Best Song in 1989? and the Grammy Award for Best Song Written for Visual Media in 1991. Not examined out of frame.
