Apotheosis of the Rose (Rose Mirror). Czech Republic: Magic Studio GARD,?2023. Originally devised by Hofzinser, the performer displays a wooden hand mirror, covers it with a silk handkerchief, and two red roses magically appear in the reflection. As a poem about life and death is recited, the roses slowly turn white before the mirror is covered again the magician removes now-real roses, leaving the surface of the mirror empty.
