There is also part of a treatise on Islamic law, much of which is illegible owing to damp; and there are several other fragments on various subjects.? The letter (dated 1st December, 1969 on The British Museum stationery) goes on to relate to the addressee (E. A. Goldsmith) that The British Museum is interested in acquiring this manuscript (the letter mentions 2 manuscripts, only one of which is present).
