Archive of Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) materials owned by Dr. Paul H. Blachly. 1960-70s. Blachly was a key figure in the promotion of lithium in psychiatry and ECT. Contents include: Farrall Instruments Model AN-1 ECT Shock Machine and accompanying electrical stimulator, Dr. Blachly's lab coat with name embroidered, a large collection of developmental/prototype "Bite Bloks", hundreds of cataloged research notes, and a lithium carbonate prescription stamp. Largest: 10 x 8 1/2 x 4". 

Condition

Unclear if wiring and machine parts work and are perfectly complete, but appear to be. Lab coat is wrinkled, stained, with a few tears. Mouthguards are mostly packaged and sealed. Research notes are on card stock.
