Archive of Simian Snapshot Photography. Circa 1940s - 1980’s. Lot of over 80 photographs, in both color and black and white, primarily snapshots with some press photographs of people dressed as apes and posing as apes, as well as ape-related signage and sculptures. Includes images of known simians as well as the animals themselves. Various sizes, largest 3 1/2 x 5 1/2” (not including 8x10” press photographs).
