Mr Dick Spelman in his booklet "Science Fiction and Fantasy Published by Arkham House And Mycroft & Moran... lists a title by Mr. Derleth, i. e., August Derleth - Twenty Years of Writing 1926-1946 as an Arkham House publication... Can you confirm that this title was indeed published under the Arkham House imprint?..." Meng's typewritten answer is as follows: "Like you, I am unfamiliar with the above described title and highly doubt it was an Arkham publication... Rod Meng [signed and typed] AH, 3/5/80". Meng took over the management of Arkham House upon the death of Derleth. It is amusing that he hasn't heard of this title - it is mentioned as an Arkham House publication in "The Phil Mays Collection of Arkham House Ephemerae."

Booklet is bright and fine; the list with two horizontal creases and toning; note has one vertical crease. Fine.
