Armless Wonders Charles Felu and Ann E. Leak. Belgium and America, ca. 1870. Felu (1830-1900) was a Belgian artist born without arms who became adept at painting with his feet. Photograph depicts Felu in his painter?s frock at work. Together with a CDV photograph of Ann E. Leak, ?born without arms, Zebulon, Pike Co., Georgia? at age 27, in 1869. Leak is shown using utensils with her feet to eat. Both in period frames.
