[ART]. A large group of nearly 300 photographs of mainly Post-Impressionism and Modern Art, largely from the collection of the Chicago Daily News and other publications. Most of these photographs were taken by art museums (the Chicago Institute of Art has supplied many of these photographs) or galleries for use by various publications, most prominently the Chicago Daily News. (Various 8vo to 4to sizes). All photographs are black and white (generally toned, with edgewear, tears, creases, with ink stamps or notations on verso, some with printer?s markings on rectos). Some of the artists? whose works are featured include: Vincent Van Gogh, Georges Braque, Pablo Picasso, Paul Cezanne, Jose Clement Orozco, and many more.
