Asmat Bone Decorated Dagger. Papua New Guinea, ca. 1920s. Decorated with woven textiles and 16 bundles of kassowary feathers. Dagger has an ivory patina and is decorated with a woven sago fiber sleeve over the bone knuckle, with silver and red seed beads. 13 ??. Likely origin: Otsjanep Village. Very good.
