Eagle, Barnedo (Barney). Autograph Letter and Manuscript Playbill Copy for the Magician Barnedo. England, 1840s/56. Two pieces from Eagle, a British conjurer, rival and imitator of John Henry Anderson, to Victorian printer John Procter. The first piece a manuscript copy of text for a playbill, on a sheet of paper to which two clipped notices of performances are affixed; and an ALS to Procter, regarding Eagle?s introduction to a ?circus man they call him Capt. (somename) which I do not know?? and relating that he will be in Hartlepool in the coming months. 7 ? x 8 7/8?.
