[AVIATION]. Desktop Model of the De Havilland Vampire Jet Fighter. [Scottsdale, AZ: Warplanes.com, ca. 20th - 21st centuries]. Painted plastic model of this famous jet fighter, mounted on wooden base with French Flag. Plane has French Air Force markings. Approximately 13 x 16 x 9". Some mild chipping to the left tail rudder, minor soiling, manufacturer's label on bottom of wooden base. Near fine. The De Havilland Vampire was the second fighter jet used by the RAF (starting in 1946), and was exported to various allied air forces.
