Painted wood sculpted relief image of the Graf Zeppelin, D-LZ127 flying over the Atlantic. In carved frame, captioned ?Graf Zeppelin" at bottom. Approximately 7 ? x 9 ?". Some wear, a few visible splits, small nail holes visible on frame at corners and centers of upper and lower frame. Fine. A beautiful relic. And: VON WIEGAND, Karl H. and HAY, Lady Drummond. The First Trans-Oceanic Voyage of an Air-Liner. Chicago: Chicago Herald and Examiner, [1928]. 4to. Illustrated. 19 pp. Publisher's printed wrappers (light offsetting to wrappers). Fine. One of the earliest publications about trans-atlantic voyages of Zeppelins.
