Ball Vase and Hammer. Circa 1880. A black ball in a wooden vase vanishes when hit with a matching wooden mallet. Finely turned from boxwood. Length of hammer 7 1/8". Rubbing to black finish, else very good. With the name of the former owner, Richard Ritson, penciled inside the vase. A very good Victorian example.
