One drawing depicts Hornsby in a New York Giants uniform and is captioned ?Traded to the New York Giants?; the other drawing shows Hornsby in a Boston Braves uniform and is captioned ?Traded to Boston in Surprising Deal?. Both are dated ?1927? (based on editor?s notes, these drawings appeared in the May 25, 1928 issue of one of the major Chicago newspapers, most likely the Tribune.
