Bathing Beauty. German, ca. 1927. Hand painted image of a lady in a bathing costume is disrobed piece by piece, but at the critical moment, the picture changes by magic and the tide comes in; she is up to her neck in water. A large example, 31 x 18?. Minor soiling to cloth. Well made.
