Issues 2 and 3 were hand-printed on a 19th century clamshell press, and the unconventional layout reflects this. Loujon Press published some of the earliest printed appearances of Charles Bukowski (who has contributed to some of these issues - he appears on the cover of no. 3). Other contributors include: William S. Burroughs, Gregory Corso, Jean Genet, Jack Kerouac, Henry Miller, Kenneth Patchen, Gary Snyder, Diane Wakowski, Jean Cocteau, Denise Levertov, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, and many more.
