[BEN ALI-BEY (Max Auzinger, 1839 ? 1928)]. Collection of Postcards Mailed to the Auzinger Family. European, 1890s. Approximately 100 picture postcards, postally used, and mailed to Angelina and Elfriede Auzinger, daughters and co-stars of Max Auzinger, widely regarded as the first performer to present Black Art on the variety stages of Europe. Sold together with two pictorial cards bearing full-length images of Ben-Ali-Bey and Sulamith (Auzinger).
