Billiard Ball Box. Los Angeles: F.G. Thayer, ca. 1925. Handsome wooden box, similar to a traditional die box, but performed with a white billiard ball. The ball vanishes from the cabinet and reappears elsewhere. Gimmick for stealing the ball from cabinet and “double door” designed differently than traditional boxes. 7 x 3 ¾ x 3 ¾”. Light external wear; good. Scarce.
