Publisher?s three-quarter dark green levant morocco over green cloth boards, spines ruled and lettered in gilt in compartments, five raised bands, top edges gilt, green endleaves (spines and board edges uniformly sunned to brown, some wear, light soiling to bindings, headcap of volume I chipped and first blank of volume I with a small hole, some occasional scuffing to bindings). AUTOGRAPH EDITION, number 880 of 1,075 sets signed by France on an inserted leaf in volume I.
