[BLACK AMERICANA] Group of 23 Real Photo Postcards of African American Military Personnel. Circa 1910s/30s. Includes men in full military uniform depicting sailors for the US Naval Training Center (Great Lakes, Illinois), full body portraits of WWI soldiers including John Reeves who went on to be a Chaplin in WWII, and three band photos. Few postally used. Occasional staining at margins, few with ink notations to margin area.
