?Black & White" Scotch Paired Electric Bottle Holder and Motorized Jack-in-the-Box. [New York: NY: The Fleischman Distilling Corporation for James Buchanan & Co., Ltd., ca. 20th century]. An unusual pair of linked items including a plastic bottle-holder with metal trigger and Jack in the Box. With power cords. Bottle holder 6" high; Jack in the Box 7" high. Some light wear, soiling. Fine. Working. When a bottle is removed from the bottle-holder, it triggers the Jack in the Box to activate - the box opens, 2 furry dogs rise up and bark (you can set the machine to mute the barking). One of the most unusual advertisements we've seen. Offered with a pair of plastic black and white Scottie dogs from this same company (without the original base).
