Official seal at bottom left. Military appointment document for Jean Pierre Huberl Cambaceres as Adjutant Commandant, listing his accomplishments and the actions he took part in. Signed by Napoleon (?Bonaparte?) at bottom center and countersigned by the Minister of War Berthier (1810-1887) and the Secretary of State Maret (1763-1839). Approximately 16 x 11 ??. Some soiling, mild edgewear, one vertical and one horizontal folds. Fine. Accompanying this document is a contemporary fair copy in an unknown hand (signed illegibly).
