Illustrated with hand-colored frontispieces and numerous plates. 6 volumes. Bound in contemporary three-quarter olive green morocco over green cloth boards, spines ruled, tooled and lettered in gilt in compartments, five raised bands, top edges gilt, marbled endleaves (some mild wear, soiling, light toning in text). Near fine. FIRST EDITION THUS, THE IMPERIAL EDITION DE LUXE. An excellent history of the Napoleonic era.
