[BONAPARTE, Napoleon (1769-1821), subject]. The Emperor. [Ca. 1890s]. Art Nouveau-style bronze statuette of Napoleon. Approximately 7 ?? high and approximately 2 ? x 2 ?? at the base. The face is of carved bone, set in bronze after the casting. The figure (with several small chips on the hat rim which was a separate casting to the figure) stands on a heavily grained double tiered, pink marble plinth base. Fine. Beautifully executed.
