Textured red cloth elaborately decorated in colors and gilt, including a medallion image of a lightning calculator on the front cover, rear ruled blind. A.E.G. Frontispiece, engravings, plates. 4to. Rubbing to binding, but near fine overall. An exceedingly attractive, bright, and square example of this work on recreational science, including magic tricks, automatons, and stage illusions.
