[BOOK DESIGN] Group of 10 Westvaco "Christmastime Classics." West Virginia: Westvaco, 1961-1973. A collection of ten limited edition “Christmastime Classics” published by the West Virginia Pulp and Paper Company (later Westvaco) for friends and family at Christmastime. These annual volumes were produced in-house under the direction of designer Bradbury Thompson with decorated slipcases, illustrations, and elaborate designs. The Red Badge of Courage by Stephen Crane features a faux bullet-hole through the cover and body text. The Prairie Traveler by Captain Randolph Barnes Marcy features a gilt spine depicting  a leather belt with buckle. Other titles include A Week on the Concord and Merrimack Rivers by Henry David Thoreau and Healthy, Wealthy, & Wise by Benjamin Franklin. Complete list upon request.  8vos. Illustrated.
