[BOOKPLATES]. [HOUDINI, Harry (1874-1926)]. A group of approximately 59 bookplates of magicians, magic shops, and magic collections, including a bookplate of Harry Houdini. Houdini bookplate: 4 x 3?; other bookplates generally similar sizes. Some bookplates with glue residue on versos (the Houdini bookplate is unused). Generally, very good or better. In addition to Houdini, other bookplates include: Robert Lund, the Milbourne Christopher Collection, The McManus/Young Collection at the Library of Congress, C.A. George Newmann, Stanley Collins, George L. Daily Jr., John Mulholland, J.B. Findlay, Virgil Anjos, Paul Fleming, and many more.
