Includes four “suits” in black, red, green, and orange, each with a boxer in a different weight class, plus five game cards (timekeeper, arena, referee, bell, and knockout). Backs navy blue with interweaved vine design. Each player would receive seven cards and take turns drawing from the remainder; the first player to assemble a hand with one Arena, Bell, Referee, Timekeeper, and two Boxers of the same weight and a Decision card would win. Box with stains, missing end panel; cards lightly worn with some creases. Among the boxers depicted on the cards are Gene Tunney, Jack Dempsey, Harry Wills, Battling Siki, and more. A RARE pre-war sports card game; we were unable to trace any sets at auction.
