BREMA, Carl (Carl Brehmer, 1864 - 1942). Group of Carl Brema Photos and Ephemera. 1910s ? 50s. Approximately 20 items, including a cabinet photo of Brema performing the Chinese Sticks, pictures of him presenting thimble manipulations, order blanks, the schematic pencil drawing for what appears to be a Nickels to Dimes prop (one of Brema's most famous effects), instructions for the Afghan Bands, an early bound Price List, Carl Brema & Son business card (torn), and more. Most 8vo and smaller. Generally good condition. A good collection of material related to this important Philadelphia-based manufacturer of bench-made metal magic apparatus.
