Album of over 200 photographs and negatives (the majority being negatives) related to the Brink's Robbery in Boston on January 17, 1950. Includes mugshots of four of the 11 men convicted in connection to the robbery, and seven mugshots of other men, possibly suspects. The remainder of the album filled with photo negatives presumed to be from the investigation, including images of the chauffeur's cap left at the crime scene (one of the only pieces of physical evidence discovered at the scene), Brink's trucks and other vehicles, interior and exterior views of the Brink's building, a burlap money bag found at a junkyard (one of the breakthroughs in the case), and others. Also with: eight Boston newspapers from 1956, each with bold above-the-fold headlines related to arrests and verdicts in the case. Provenance: from a former Boston Police Department photographer.
