BURGER, Eugene (1939 ? 2017). The Haunted Doll House of Millie Riggs. Circa 1985. A white doll's house with patterned fabric interior with a removable front panel and roof, owned and used by Eugene Burger, the well-known Chicago magician. This house, modeled almost exactly on the original devised by The Great Leon, was presented by Burger as the ?Haunted Doll House of Millie Riggs," and during Burger's Spirit Theater seances, manifestations took place inside the open-fronted house. Burger's presentation for the house was published as Chapter 14 of in Richard Kaufman's Spirit Theater (1986). The complete routine for Leon's original was published by Magic Inc. in pamphlet form, describing effects as varied as an animated handkerchief, miniature revolver that floats and fires, and more. Assembled dimensions 32 x 15 x 22"; disassembles for packing. Purchased from Eugene Burger by the consignor.
