Illustrated with frontispiece. 392 pp. Publisher's full red cloth, front board and spine stamped in black, publisher's double-sided unclipped dust jacket (cloth binding lightly rubbed and soiled, edge of text-block lightly soiled, gift inscription on ffep.; jacket edgeworn, lightly chipped with several short marginal tears, some light soiling on verso). Very good. AN EARLY REPRINT IN JACKET OF THE FIRST TARZAN NOVEL (this has 25 Burroughs titles listed on the jacket verso, so this is not the first G&D reprint jacket but is an early one). Zeuschner 701. From the renowned personal collection of Dr. George D. Lacy. Measurements: 9 ? x 6 ? x 2".
