Several intertextual illustrations. 365, [11, ads] pp. Publisher's full red cloth, front board and spine stamped in black, publisher's double-sided unclipped dust jacket (light rubbing to cloth, minor offsetting to endleaves; jacket toned, worn, soiled, with some marginal chipping and a few short tears). Very good. AN EARLY REPRINT OF THE SECOND TARZAN NOVEL, WITH THE FRONT COVER JACKET ARTWORK BY N. C. WYETH. This is not the first G & D reprint but a later version from the 1930s. Zeuschner 451.
