Bush, Charles Green (1842-1909). Original Teddy Roosevelt Political Cartoon. Circa 1900. Pen and ink on thick paper, signed ?C.G. Bush? lower right. Cartoon depicts Roosevelt, dressed as a Rough Rider, running away from the Van Wyck Ice Trust scandal, as well as the Panama Canal scandal. The cartoon was published in the New York World on Oct. 26, 1900. Sheet 29 x 23?. Closed tear to right edge not affecting artwork.
