Approximately 3.5 x 2.75 inches. With pencil notations to verso. Includes an additional silhouette of Emily H. Pitchford, mother of American photographer Emily Pitchford, later Emily Pitchford Hussey (1878 – 1956), whose small (4 x 3") journal is also included here, containing several other small silhouettes by Barber. SIGNED BY BARBER, EMILY H. PITCHFORD, AND EMILY PITCHFORD HUSSEY. Includes previous owner's notes/research.  

Charles Barber (Barbier), also cut silhouettes for the Royal Families of England and Germany. 

Condition

Leather journal is rubbed and worn, with covers and several pages detached. Overall very good.
