HOUDINI, Harry (Erik Weisz, 1874 - 1926). Cabinet Card Portrait of Harry and Bess Houdini. Philadelphia: F. Gutekunst, ca. 1905. Horizontal sepia tone half-length portrait of the Houdinis in their youthful prime. Pinned to Beatrice's neck is a brooch said to be gifted to her by a Russian czar. Cabinet card format on printed photographer's mount, 6 1/2 x 4 1/4". A scarce image.
Condition
Very minor soiling to recto, old glue marks and notations in ink and pencil to verso.
