Campoli was a member of the Monster Roster, which included such artist luminaries as Dominick Di Meo, Leon Golub, Nancy Spero and Seymour Rosofsky. This sculpture is the same cast version of Birth of Death (with a different stand)?in the collection at the MCA, and the Smart Museum in Chicago. Surface dirt overall.
