Card and Watch Frame. German, ca. 1900. A chosen card is torn to bits, and the borrowed pocket watch vanishes. The magician fires his pistol at brass frame; the card appears at its center lacking one corner. He fires again, and the card appears ? now restored ? on top of the frame, while the borrowed watch appears in the center where the card once was. Mechanically complex device. 6 x 8 x 1". On a short replacement base, and with a typed note regarding the history of the prop. Uncommon.
