CARDINI (Richard Valentine Pitchford, 1895 – 1973). Silver and Gold Peau Doux “Cardini” Playing Cards. Chicago: Walgreen Co., ca. 1934. Two unopened packs, one silver and the other gold, of the bridge-size fanning cards purchased by Cardini for use in his famous act. Cardini hallmark stamp to one panel of each box. Tax stamps and cellophane wrappers present; boxes show only moderate wear.
