CARLTON (Arthur Phelps, 1881 ? 1942). Funny Face/Rubber Face Paper Coil Novelty. London: Zetes (for Lewis Davenport), ca. 1935. Wound paper coil on which is printed a color portrait of Carlton (?The Human Hairpin?), in a folding paper carton with his name printed on its ends. Openings on the front and rear panels allow the user to contort the magician?s face into a wide range of funny forms. 2 ? x 2 ? x ??. Davenport and Zetes names to rear. A few chips to cellophane on upper opening, else good. SCARCE.
