CHAGALL, Marc (Russian-French, 1887-1985). ?Temple et Histoire de Bacchus?. Circa 1977. Offset lithograph on paper. Signed by Chagall in pencil in the lower right corner. Visible area: 12 ? x 18?. One visible vertical crease in the center. Matted, framed, and glazed (frame size: 22 x 28?). Not examined out of frame. Excellent. Chagall was a versatile artist, who created paintings, ceramics, stained-glass windows, stage sets, and more. Many consider him to be the pre-eminent Jewish artist of the twentieth century.
