CHAPENDER, Martin (1879 ? 1905). Three signed RPPCs. 1904. Three real photo postcards of Chapender depicting billiard balls, levitation, and livestock production. All addressed by Chapender to Neil Weaver, founder of the Magic Circle, in London. One postcard filled front and back with Chapender's notes on his recent shows (?Even from the rowdiest audiences (at Hull) I had good receptions + this week I am going particularly strong as I am bottom of the bill the only star besides myself being a local wrestler??). Signed ?M,? ?Chapender,? and ?Martin Chapender.? A SCARCE group; Chapender died at age 25 from meningitis.
